Nature’s going to execute… every last one of you…
… for planting weapons…
So I finish year 2 of university. I was losing the will to live at the end there, it’s been a hard road. Exams soon, then it’s all over until September. I thought I’d give a brief update and a couple of really cool links before I descend into my usual cryptic wash, because I really appreciate a lot of you people and still read everything you write. I’m going to start writing a diary again, but I’ll probably turn this thing into an RSS feed (or set up a script to automatically mirror everything I post to here). The reason is that I’m deeply and genuinely impressed with HamBlog and the ease of customisation, and am looking to use that as soon as he’s happy with a release version.
Right, updates on projects and running themes in my life…
Frances: We’re still together thanks, have been for two and a half years now. We’ve had our ups and downs, but she is remains very much one of the best parts of my life.
Other Friends: As always, I tend to have lost everyone. I’m really bad at keeping in touch, and apparently I’m awful at texting people. Hey, I’ve just got a number- 0161 660 5101. The bonus of this number is that any message you leave on it gets emailed to me as an mp3, so you can leave a message for me when I’m out of the country.
Holidays: I’m going to Paris for Frances’s 21st in a few weeks, but only for a weekend. I like Paris. Straight after that I think I’m seeing Tool in London. I like London. No plans for the rest of the holidays, except…
Limited Wish: About 50% recorded- have, as of this week, received the last bit of equipment I needed to do that. So will get moving.
Planting Weapons: Written a lot of tracks, decided on the tuning.
Unnamed Pirate Rock Opera: Mostly written now, just need more time to put it down and a full cast of volunteer vocalists.
Hamwars: Currently stagnant while technical issues are resolved.
Infinite Chambers of Horror: Looking for skilled riddlers. Anyone capable of creating a lot of good riddles, please submit them to Hamsoft!
When these projects are complete, I have a load of other ones to start. Right, now for the cool link of the day:

i saw that video a couple of months ago and it gave me nightmares. that little girl is obviously possessed!
She’s a puppet! Well probly not, but if your kid was smiling that much I’d have to wonder what you were feeding her
Liam! *misses you*
Gald you are doing well, and congrats on finishing year two of university.
I just finished year two of college here, what a blur =/
Have a wonderful time at that Tool concert, you lucky.
You know, when I read, “The bonus of this number is that any message you leave on it gets emailed to me as an mp3,” I thought you meant text messages… so that led to confusion… ^^;;; That’s pretty damn cool, though. If only I had that…
Fraid i’m not round London over June, but let me know if you’re ever down here, i can drunkenly anger a London chav and nearly get our heads kicked in.
I am here. Always will be. You can’t lose me.
xox
pirate rock opera vocalist volunteer here boyd, i’ll rock that shit lickety split.
Aw, she’s cute!
http://www.sipgate.co.uk – they send as 8kHz mono wav files, not mp3 as originally described. A script could easily fetch them and convert them though.
excellent! I’ll think you up a good part.
you know i’m down with the program. let me know and i’ll get it sorted.
Haha, it’s too bad I don’t live in the UK, otherwise I might get that. I’m definitely shopping around for a new phone since my buttons don’t work half the time.

Ooohh, thanks.
As I said anonymously in the above, Sipphone now do a free service called Area775, which gives you a free VOIP number in the US which’ll direct an incoming call to your computer. Good for some things, but I wouldn’t trust the quality with my life, especially if your connection is shakey.

I’d like to help you choose a contract, but I have no idea who’s cheap or expensive over there.
Haha, I don’t really either since my parents pay for it all and I haven’t kept up with phones…
